whiteeries: ..fall into u's

this afternoon, i caught my heel in the curtainish indian trousers i was wearing ..and fell.
please bear in mind the first time i stumbled (while i was crossing the street on red light, 'fcourse), i managed to waver a bit et pas plus.

but then i reached the sidewalk and resumed hanging my thoughts to fuzzy chestnut trees, and so i plunged onto the pavement so swiftly and aloud, that it triggered a stream of awe-stricken prayers from one piece of self-revolving, hand-lifting, hilariously startled spanish woman who promptly jumped in front of me (shoulders and words flying - she seemed so shaken up, i became worried). 'santamariasanta, ayaay, santo amor, santa dolores.. arr lliu alrrreit, santasantitamariamercedes, giu lliu nid helpa,.. ayyay'.

i hadn't fallen in a while, which is quite rare (hence my brief hesitation - what to laugh at, my having fallen among tenths of cars queuing before the traffic light, their drivers gawking, ..or her ongoing ayayay).

and yet there’s so much scope in falling. it may come as an afterthought, when you're driving back home using your fingertips alone - the rest was either scratched or sore.
just fall away, on streets, from skies, into the spring, asleep, in love or outside time.

you might find tiny swords engraved into the pavement.
